For the 15,000 people who visit our site every day, reading Electric Literature costs nothing. And yet Electric Lit is not free. We need to raise $25,000 by December 31, 2024 to keep Electric Literature going into next year. The holidays just got a whole lot more exciting—our fifth annual Book Cover Tournament kicks off on Monday! For an entire year, we’ve judged thousands and thousands of book covers, and the 32 designs below represent the very best. But in the end, there can only be one winner.
Now, it’s your turn to take the reins! Head over to our Twitter and Instagram Stories next week to cast your votes in the most aesthetic showdown of the year. Want to up the fun? Download the full bracket, predict your winners, and follow the drama as it unfolds.
Here’s how it works: 32 books, 16 pairs will face off in round one. Voting begins Monday for round one, Tuesday for round two, quarterfinals on Wednesday, semifinals on Thursday, and the grand finale on Friday.
