I hope you are well. I am trying to to find a book I read many years ago well the author to be exact.

It was a romance big age gap she was on holiday with her family in the holiday house he was a painter neighbor.  They got together, he painted her naked and her parents saw the picture.

Many many years after she’s back in the holiday house and finds out his house is ran down etc, and that her father after he realized they had an affair, broke his fingers and he was unable to paint.

That’s more less what I remember from this book. Definitely romance not high end literature.
