Reader Question – The MMF book where one of the guys wasn’t out, was a masochist and really really liked pain, and had an abusive father.

Reader Question - The MMF book where one of the guys wasn’t out, was a masochist and really really liked pain, and had an abusive father. And here is Kelly’s question #2 that I can’t wait to find for her. 🙂 I feel like I’ve read this before. I had 2 books that are coming to mind. One by Kele Moon that I loved & one by Suanne Laqueur that I loved too!!

And since it’s been years since I’ve read them, I’m not quite exact on the details matching but either way, if you love books like this one described below, you’ll LOVE the two I posted. 🙂 P.S. Maybe while we’re at it, we can make a list of similar books in this trope. YAY US!!!

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

looking for 2 books I read at least 5+ years ago.

Book # 2

This was an MMF + BDSM

I think the FC was an artist

One of the M’s had 2 first names like Paul Guy or Jean Guy, was an athlete, wasn’t out, was a masochist and really really liked pain, and had an abusive father.

The other MC’s name might have started with a D – he had more of a connection with the other MC than the FC, although they were all friends.

During high school it was thought that the FC and the 1st MC were together and the 2nd MC was their friend

I think after high school the 2nd MC left town. When he came back they resumed the 3-some. But then the 1st MC left under pressure from family and the FC and 2nd MC got very close

Hope this is enough to go on.

Anyone have a guess?

Maryse: This is the first one that came to mind for me: Beyond Eden by Kele Moon (and here’s my review) <— THAT is the one I think it is!! But… also, then I was also thinking about An Exaltation of Larks by Suanne Laqueur (and here’s my review of THAT one). Either way, both are AWESOME and must reads. 😃

MMF BDSM ROMANCE!!

Beyond Eden

MMF BDSM ROMANCE!!

“…Three lifelong friends find themselves tangled in a web of love, pain and dangerous secrets in this erotic Garden of Eden tale.

Tall, dark and handsome Danny Carlow has always gotten whatever he wants except for the two he desires more than anything—his best friends, lovers Paul and Eve. Determined to claim what was never supposed to be his, Danny waits like a snake in the grass, poised for the right moment to offer them a temptation too delicious to resist...”

P.S. Here’s my 4 star book review and here’s the whole series.

Amo: My latest book hangover is from Finding Eden by Kele Moon. I read it out of order because they were both available & I decided to start at the beginning. I’m glad I read it that way. I had such a strong connection to Danny Boy & Paul Guy. It made the really intense moments in Beyond Eden that much sweeter. You should go back for a visit and read Finding Eden. 🙂

Ana: I loved Beyond Eden sooooo much! The intensity in that book was definitely felt by me!

Amanda: I think Finding Eden and Beyond Eden by Kele Moon should be added to the bdsm list! Now lts not for everyone but you really feel what these characters go through not to mention the love and the angst with the characters. Very well written and keeps you glued to the pages!

Anna: Beyond Eden is amazing! I re-read it right after I finished it because I didn’t feel done with the characters yet. And the crying is real, and unavoidable.

ONE OF MY 5-STAR FAVORITES!!!

An Exaltation of Larks (Venery Book 1)

ONE OF MY 5-STAR FAVORITES!!! Here’s my 5-STAR review.

“...Alex, Valerie and Jav meet first in their twenties, with a sudden attraction each finds strange and compelling. When they meet again in their forties, they discover not only is their bond still strong, but their life experiences are strangely similar.

All have been shaped by separate 9/11’s, and their unfinished business from the past will change everything they know about love, loyalty and friendship...”

P.S. Here’s the whole series.

Jean: Yay! I knew you would love it and I had chills reading your review. It brought everything back to me……*sigh*

Hayley: I’m usually a fast skim reader but I savoured every word of this book. It was my first by Suanne Laqueur but definitely won’t be the last. I haven’t picked up another book yet.

Dana: Wow, this book was ah-ma-zing!! I totally didn’t want it to end. Ms. Laqueur is incredibly gifted. The imagery, the feels, the s-e-x, oh my! Please please please write many more books Suanne!
